UPDATED WITH MARCH 30, 2020 5 PM DATA

Last night’s Florida COVID-19 Report by Florida Department of Health (FDOH) showed 16 cities in Pinellas County with COVID-positive residents, That represents a geographic spread of the virus over the past week. My report of March 24th data  identified 12 cities with Coronavirus victims. Since then, new cases are reported in Madeira Beach, South Pasadena, Oldsmar and Safety Harbor. In all, Pinellas has 129 victims of the virus as of last night’s detailed report by FDOH.

We have yet to see whether Pinellas County’s #StayAtHome order is making an impact. It went into effect on March 27 (last Friday). In a press conference the day before, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman asked for all non-essential movement of his residents to be stilled. His city has the highest number of cases in Pinellas County (28), followed by Clearwater (24), and Largo (21).

Here is a breakdown of the cities of residence for 112 COVID-positive people in Pinellas County (please note, state officials do not provide cities of station for the 17 COVID-positive people who are in Pinellas but who are non-Florida residents).
